About Us
Service, Done Right—For Over Three Decades
In 1998, two former Caterpillar EPG technicians decided customers deserved better. After seeing the consistent service gaps and lack of accountability inside a large corporation, they set out to build something different. Starting with just the two of them working in the field, they secured a key partnership with a local Detroit utility division that helped launch the business and build early momentum.
Even after that utility division was shuttered years later, the company continued to grow on its own reputation—expanding its customer base, investing in people, and earning trust one job at a time.
Today, 30+ years later, that two-man operation has become a team of more than 50 employees across four locations in Michigan and Ohio, still guided by the same mission: deliver unmatched service, real value, and total reliability to every customer we serve.
OUR HISTORY
MILFORD (1998)
69É«ÇéƬ was founded in 1998 in a small building in Milford, MI. With a customer-focused mission to provide emergency power generation solutions and service.
WIXOM (2005)
69É«ÇéƬ grew the business enough to require more space to house more equipment and a growing team of technicians. In 2005 the business moved to a larger building on Wall St. in Wixom, MI.
GRAND RAPIDS (2008)
We expanded to bring 69É«ÇéƬ generator solutions to the Grand Rapids area. Every team member at PM Tech is dedicated to our customer’s success and security.
CRITICAL POWER SOLUTIONS (2014)
Critical Power Services division was launched in 2014 to provide dedicated solutions for our customers utilizing UPS and DC Plant equipment. This added service allows us to offer a one-stop solution for our customer’s emergency power needs.
DAYTON (2016)
We saw the need for generator service in the Dayton region and further expanded 69É«ÇéƬ generator solutions to New Carlisle, OH. We understand the critical nature of the emergency power industry and we are committed to being the go-to source for trusted and reliable emergency power needs in the communities we serve.
POWER CLEANING SYSTEMS (2018)
Power Cleaning Systems was acquired in 2018 to provide Sales, Parts and service for the ever growing demand for power washing equipment.
STERLING HEIGHTS (2025)
Our company has since grown into a turn-key emergency power system and maintenance provider – from design and installation, to maintenance and emergency service.
